Pickleball at Dock Street 

Dock Street School for STEAM Studies is excited to introduce pickleball through a dynamic clinic-style program designed to expose students to one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

 

With the development of a new pickleball park in DUMBO, we saw an opportunity to ensure our students are not only aware of this exciting addition to their community—but actively prepared to participate, compete, and enjoy it.

 

Through strategic partnerships with local organizations and instructors, students engage in hands-on clinics that build:

  • Fundamental skills and game strategy
  • Teamwork and sportsmanship
  • Confidence in trying something new

This program reflects our commitment to providing relevant, community-connected opportunities that align with student interests and expand access to emerging sports.
